Gerald joined Bluestone & Hockley’s Sales department as an investment research intern while attending Portland State University. He later received a BS in Real Estate Finance and has since applied these skills and principles to the local real estate industry.
Gerald has focused primarily on commercial REO and residential REO sales under the direction of Philip Higgins, the Senior Director of REO sales and loan servicing for Bluestone & Hockley. His primary responsibilities have been to survey, evaluate, and market the listing inventory which averages somewhere between 100 to 110 assets at any given time. In 2009 alone, Gerald helped close over 89 real estate sales and leases.
Gerald’s strengths are his ability to facilitate in sales of nearly all property types. This eliminates the need for the sophisticated investor to have multiple real estate sales professionals in their employ to buy or sell properties. Be it a simple residential fixer, to a complicated commercial 1031 exchange, Gerald offers his services to the tenured investors or first time buyers alike.
Gerald has high hopes and confidence in our local real estate market for 2010 and looks forward to bringing solid fiscal growth to his clients and the Portland area real estate market as a whole.
