Sid and Sylvia Bluestone started S. Bluestone Realty about 45 years ago with a vision to help developer clients. In 1987, the firm was purchased by Sid and Sylvia’s daughter Julie and her husband Cliff Hockley, who then established Bluestone & Hockley Real Estate Services as a full-service real estate company with offices in Portland, Or, Vancouver, Wa, and Salem, Or. The company has 80 employees and an advisor team that lease a 13,000 square foot office in Portland, Oregon with micro offices in Salem and Vancouver.
The company manages residential and commercial properties and community associations. These departments are supported by property management accounting staff, a maintenance team (based in the Portland and Salem Metro areas), as well as real estate brokers that are part of our sister company SVN | Bluestone and Hockley.
In 2011, the company partnered with SVN International to provide real estate sales brokerage services. SNV | Bluestone & Hockley specializes in the sale of commercial and multifamily properties and the leasing of commercial space.
Bluestone and Hockley Real Estate Services has been an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) since April of 1998. In 2014, Bluestone & Hockley was awarded AMO of the Year by the Portland chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management.
